Center Agreement

This agreement applies to childcare centers and their administrators and location managers using EarlyEd Reserve. It supplements the Terms of Service.

Draft for legal review before commercial launch.

1. You remain the employer

EarlyEd Reserve is a marketplace, not a staffing agency. Your center is solely responsible for hiring decisions, supervision, compensation, payroll and tax obligations, workers' compensation coverage where required, and compliance with Texas childcare licensing rules — including minimum standards for caregiver qualifications and background checks.

2. Verification and attestation

Before posting opportunities, your center completes our verification workflow, which includes confirming your licensing information and attesting to your compliance responsibilities. You agree to keep this information current and to notify us promptly if your license status changes.

Verification badges reflect our review at a point in time. They do not transfer any of your legal obligations to EarlyEd Reserve.

3. Listing standards

  • Every opportunity must include compensation — a rate or range — before posting
  • Descriptions must accurately reflect duties, schedule, and requirements
  • Classroom, age group, and arrival details must be accurate and kept current
  • You will honor confirmed assignments except in genuine emergencies

4. Educator treatment

You agree to provide a safe, lawful, and respectful workplace for every educator who accepts an assignment with your center; to pay agreed compensation on the schedule stated in the listing; and to submit honest, first-hand reviews. Retaliation against educators for good-faith reviews or safety reports is prohibited.

5. Background checks

Your center is responsible for completing all background checks required by Texas law before an educator works with children in your care, and for maintaining records as required by your license. EarlyEd Reserve's credential review supports — but does not replace — your independent verification duties. See the Background Check Disclosure for details.

6. Data handling

You may access educator information only for legitimate marketplace purposes (evaluating, scheduling, and managing assignments). You must not retain, share, or use educator personal information for unrelated purposes, and you must never enter children's personal information into the platform.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this agreement — including inaccurate listings, payment failures, safety violations, or misuse of educator data — may result in suspension or removal from the marketplace under our Community Standards and enforcement procedures.
