Trust and safety
Safety language that tells the truth.
EarlyEd Reserve coordinates verification records and reviews — and is precise about what every status does and does not mean. Centers always complete their own required processes.
Marketplace verification badges
Badges are never combined into one misleading “fully verified” label. Each badge below states exactly what it means — and what it does not.
Language you will never see here
Because no platform can honestly claim these things, EarlyEd Reserve never uses them:
- Fully State Approved
- Texas Approved Educator
- State Certified Substitute
- Cleared Everywhere
- Universal Background Check
- Guaranteed Safe
Background checks & eligibility
Each childcare operation completes the official Texas Child Care Regulation process for every educator before care begins. EarlyEd Reserve:
- Never receives or publishes confidential criminal-history reports
- Stores only platform verification status, the confirming operation, dates, and audit history
- Requires center attestation before any assignment is confirmed
- Moves an educator to Verification Required immediately when authorized notice of a change arrives
- Never represents a state integration as operational until it is authorized, connected, and tested
Eligibility statuses

- Center Verification Required
- Center-Confirmed Verified

Fair, documented enforcement
No educator is automatically removed based solely on unfavorable ratings. Every enforcement action records its reason, evidence source, reviewer, decision, appeal deadline and outcome, restoration conditions, and audit history.
One verified no-show
Warning, reliability-score effect, a request for the educator's explanation, and documented center evidence.
Two verified no-shows within 90 days
Temporary booking restriction, administrative review, and an opportunity for the educator to respond.
Three verified no-shows within 12 months
Formal account review, possible suspension or removal, and appeal rights.
Credential falsification
Immediate restriction pending investigation.
Credible urgent child-safety concern
Immediate restriction on new bookings, authorized safety reviewers notified, evidence preserved, and mandatory-reporting instructions displayed — without waiting for public review moderation.
