Community Standards

EarlyEd Reserve works because centers and educators can trust each other. These standards define the conduct that keeps the marketplace safe, honest, and professional.

Draft for legal review before commercial launch.

1. Honesty

Profiles, credentials, listings, reviews, and availability must be truthful. Fabricated credentials, bait-and-switch listings, fake reviews, and review trading or retaliation are prohibited.

2. Respect and professionalism

Treat every person with dignity. Harassment, discrimination, threats, and abusive language — on or off the platform in connection with marketplace activity — are not tolerated. This includes discrimination prohibited by federal, Texas, or local law.

3. Child safety above all

Any conduct that endangers a child results in immediate removal and, where appropriate, a report to authorities. All users must comply with Texas mandatory reporting requirements. If you suspect abuse or neglect, call the Texas Abuse Hotline at 1-800-252-5400 or report online at txabusehotline.org — then notify us through a safety report.

4. Privacy and confidentiality

Do not share children's personal information, other users' private details, or confidential center information. Do not photograph or post about children in care settings through the platform.

5. Marketplace integrity

  • Honor confirmed assignments; cancel only for genuine reasons, as early as possible
  • Use platform tools for scheduling and attendance honestly — no falsified check-ins
  • Do not use the platform to solicit illegal activity or circumvent licensing law
  • Do not create multiple accounts to evade enforcement or manipulate scores

6. Enforcement

Our team reviews reports and marketplace signals. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, require corrective action, suspend an account pending review, or permanently remove a user or center. Safety-critical violations skip straight to suspension or removal. We aim to be fair and transparent: except where safety or law prevents it, we tell you what happened and why, and you can appeal through the Contact page.
