1. What EarlyEd Reserve is

EarlyEd Reserve is a technology marketplace that connects licensed childcare centers with early-childhood educators for temporary, recurring, and permanent assignments. EarlyEd Reserve is not an employer, staffing agency, or childcare provider. Centers remain the employers and decision-makers for every assignment. EarlyEd Reserve does not supervise classrooms, set center policies, or direct the day-to-day work of educators, and does not determine, certify, or guarantee that any educator is qualified or eligible for any role.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States to use EarlyEd Reserve. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Email verification is required before protected features are unlocked. Staff and administrative roles are granted by EarlyEd Reserve and cannot be self-assigned.

3. The marketplace relationship

When a center accepts an educator's application, the resulting work relationship is solely between the center and the educator. The center is responsible for compensation, payroll, tax withholding or reporting, workers' compensation coverage where required, and compliance with all applicable employment and childcare licensing laws.

EarlyEd Reserve facilitates discovery, communication, scheduling, and recordkeeping tools. We do not guarantee assignments for educators or coverage for centers.

4. Subscriptions and fees

Educator accounts are free. Center subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected at signup or as modified during the founding pilot. Pilot pricing terms are honored as described on the Founding Pilot page. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in the Cancellation Policy.

5. Verification and credentials

Educators upload credentials for review, and centers complete a verification workflow that includes attestation of compliance responsibilities. Verification badges reflect our review of submitted information at a point in time. Verification is not a guarantee of any individual's conduct, and centers retain their independent legal obligation to verify educator eligibility, including background checks required by Texas law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, licensing status, or work history
  • Share another person's private information without authorization
  • Use the platform to discriminate in violation of applicable law
  • Circumvent platform safety, review, or payment systems
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform's operation

Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal, as described in our Community Standards.

7. Reviews and content

Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experiences. EarlyEd Reserve moderates reviews for abuse but does not edit the substance of honest feedback. You grant EarlyEd Reserve a license to display content you submit in connection with operating the marketplace.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, EarlyEd Reserve disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from marketplace interactions, assignments, or hiring decisions made by centers or educators.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms with notice through the platform or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions? Reach us through the Contact page.
