Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information EarlyEd Reserve collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what the marketplace needs to function safely.

1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and your role (educator or center).
- Profile information: professional bio, experience, education, languages, availability, and work preferences you choose to add.
- Credential documents: certifications, training records, and related files you upload for verification review.
- Private details: information such as date of birth or address that you provide for verification purposes. These fields are visible only to you and authorized review staff — never to centers or other users.
- Marketplace activity: applications, assignments, check-in and check-out records, reviews, and messages sent through the platform.
- Legal consents: records of the agreements you accept, including version and timestamp.
- Technical data: device, browser, and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
- Operate the marketplace: matching, applications, scheduling, and attendance
- Review credentials and operate the verification badge system
- Calculate and display Reliability Scores based on marketplace activity
- Send account, assignment, and safety-related notifications
- Investigate safety reports and enforce Community Standards
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use educator private details for advertising.
3. What centers can see
Centers see your public professional profile, verification badges, Reliability Score, credential review statuses (not underlying documents unless you share them), and reviews. Centers never see fields stored as private details, your legal consents, or your activity at other centers beyond shared marketplace history.
4. Children's privacy
EarlyEd Reserve is a workforce marketplace for adults. Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children. Centers must not enter children's personal information into the platform.
5. Data security and retention
We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls on every private table, and least-privilege access for staff. We retain account and marketplace records while your account is active and as needed afterward for legal, safety, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or for safety investigations.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access and correct your profile information from your dashboard
- Control which optional profile fields you complete
- Request a copy or deletion of your personal data via the Contact page
- Manage notification preferences in account settings
7. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you through the platform or by email before the changes take effect, and we will ask for renewed consent where required.
