Educator Agreement
This agreement applies to educators using EarlyEd Reserve. It supplements the Terms of Service and explains what we ask of you — and what you can expect from us.
Draft for legal review before commercial launch.
Last updated: January 2026
1. Your independent relationship with centers
EarlyEd Reserve connects you with centers; it does not employ you. When a center accepts your application, your work relationship — including compensation, schedule, and supervision — is with that center. EarlyEd Reserve is never your employer, and nothing on the platform creates an employment relationship with us.
2. Accurate information and credentials
You agree that all profile information, credentials, and work history you submit are accurate and current. You will promptly update credentials before they expire. Misrepresenting qualifications or licensing status is grounds for immediate removal.
3. Background checks and eligibility
You confirm that you are legally eligible to work in childcare settings in Texas and that you will truthfully complete any background check process a center requires. You agree to notify EarlyEd Reserve and any center where you have active assignments if anything changes that could affect your eligibility to work with children.
4. Reliability commitments
- Accept only assignments you genuinely intend and are able to complete
- Arrive on time, check in and out honestly, and follow center policies
- Communicate early if an emergency prevents attendance
- Keep your availability calendar accurate
Your Reliability Score reflects completed assignments, punctuality, cancellations, and communication. It is calculated from marketplace activity — never from subjective hidden factors — and you can always see how it works.
5. Professional conduct and child safety
You will follow all applicable laws, licensing standards, and center policies while on assignment; maintain appropriate professional boundaries; and immediately report any safety concern involving a child to the center director and, where required by Texas law, to the Texas Abuse Hotline (1-800-252-5400). See our Safety & Reporting page for full guidance.
6. Confidentiality
You may learn private information about children, families, and center operations while on assignment. You agree to keep that information confidential and never to post identifying information about children or families on or off the platform.
7. What you can expect from us
Free access to the marketplace, transparent compensation on every listing, a verification badge that showcases your qualifications, a Reliability Score you control through your own track record, and a moderation team that takes your reports seriously.
